Zamora Construction is looking for a self-starting, motivated, hard worker with a team attitude to serve as an Inventory Control Assistant. Safety and Customer Service are our top priorities. Applicant must have a flexible schedule, as the schedule may vary based on business needs. Good attendance and punctuality are key to the success of the Zamora Construction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: PERFORM DAILY INVENTORY AND OPERATIONS CHECKS ON ALL EQUIPMENT & MATERIALS. COMPILE A LIST WHEN STOCK MATERIALS ARE LOW AND NEED TO BE ORDERED. • Stage materials needed for next day organized by crew/project. • Inventory all material as it is received and as it issued out. • Notify Inventory Control Administrator of any discrepancies with deliveries/inventory/equipment/etc. • Routine checks/maintenance of all gas-powered equipment. • Assist with loading & unloading of materials & equipment. • Keep yard & shop organized and clean. Help with routine maintenance of office. • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned • Self-starter, motivator, hard worker, team attitude • Must be able to pass drug test if requested • Good attendance and being time is a must • Required to perform task that include heavy lifting of 50 pounds, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling and reaching. • Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: - Must be able to perform daily inventory on all equipment and materials. - Must be able to compile a list of materials when running low. - Required to perform tasks that include heavy lifting of 50lbs or more, climbing, balancing, stooping, crouching, crawling & reaching. - Hand-eye coordination. - Ability to read, write, speak English & comprehend simple instruction. - Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned - Self starter, motivator, hard worker, team attitude PREFERRED SKILLS Bilingual: English/Spanish Some knowledge of mechanical issues preferred Ability to tack weld preferred If you meet the requirements and interested in the position, please give us a call!
