DRIVER FOR CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS TESTING LABORATORY

DUTIES: • Follow daily dispatch orders to jobsites throughout Southern California and pick up various samples of construction components to be strength tested. • Transport to laboratory • Log in and prep samples for storage pending tests • Go through Truck safety checklist daily prior to departure • Track truck maintenance and advise supervisor when required • Assist in laboratory as time permits • During rainy season laboratory upkeep will be performed when jobsites are shut down. This could include all or some of the following; o Painting o Organizing o Repair of small tools o Updating tool logs o Equipment maintenance o Errands o Filing o Archiving of old files REQUIREMENTS: • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (DMV) • Good driving skills, driving Ford F250 • Knowledge of Southern California Freeway Routes • Excellent communication skills • Ability to read maps, use GPS • Ability to use Iphone and email • Good Customer Service personality • Work M – F 40 hours, Overtime possible • Ability to maintain driver log • Ability to lift 50# or more regularly • Timeliness • Accuracy • Honesty • Good attitude • Team Player • Computer skills a plus (MS office: Outlook, Word, Excel) BENEFITS: • Medical, Dental, Vision (5 carrier options - Kaiser HMO up to Blue Cross PPO.
