We are looking for the right fit for this handsome 1-year-old male Dutch Shepherd. We had a recent change in work schedules and were unable to give him the love and attention he deserves. Will not place him with just anyone; you must have a verifiable backyard for him and comfortable with a big dog. **Please read the entire post, if you respond with “is he still available” you will only be ignored. Please respond with just a little about you and why you want him, and any questions you may have about him. There is a small $400 rehoming fee to make sure he goes to a good family. The fee covers a some items that he will come with. Which are: Unopened 14 lb bag of dog food (Taste of the Wild) and 12 cans of Hills Science wet food for an easy transition. A new (in the box) large Coolaroo dog bed Plastic pool (he loves the water) Harness and leash. About Lars: He is housebroken and spends a few hours outside, but he much rather relax inside with his owner. He loves the water, enjoys playing in his doggie pool. Gets along with either dogs, he plays well with large and small dogs. He does not chew furniture, shoes or anything that he shouldn't. Obviously, if left alone for long periods he will need his chew toys. He knows how to heel by your side, sit and lay down (commands are in German though). He won't bark at the neighbor's dog (unlike most dogs). He will bark at the door when inside and is pretty damn intimidating to unwanted strangers. He is still a puppy and as a big boy full of energy-you will need to work him a few times a week to prevent boredom as he is a working line dog. He does not come with papers. He is up to date on his rabies shot, but will need a refill of Comfortis as he had his last one in May. He is not fixed since we were going to breed him, however with my new work travel requirements we are now looking for a GOOD home for him.
