Looking to hire person to help with inventory at a auto salvage yard. Primary responsibilities: Moving parts to put away and pull to sell (small items to large heavy items such as doors, hoods, etc) Many times you'll be working alone, sometimes you'll have help moving heavy items. Identifying parts to create labels and put away auto parts Taking pictures Using hand device to manage inventory Writing and taking notes Inputting and editing from a computer / laptop Ideal candidate: It is a salvage / junk yard. You'll be dealing with heavy and dirty items. Majority of time will be spent outdoors. It does get HOT and SUNNY. Someone who'll be able to learn a computerized inventory management system. Quick learner. Be incentive, organized, and pays attention to details. Don't apply if you're looking to drag your time just to get paid end of the week. Car knowledge is a huge plus. Being able to identify certain parts taken off vehicles will help you. Be a team player and willing to learn and follow directions.
