Camp Lakeview is hiring for seasonal positions for maintenance and housekeeping. Come work at our beautiful camp with our friendly staff! The environment is fun and you get to be a part of helping create memories for all that come to our camp through the summer! Both positions are starting NOW and are seasonal til September 4th. Must be available evenings and weekends. Housekeeping - Duties include cleaning our cottages and lodges after guests check out and getting them reset and ready for our next guests to check in. Also, cleaning our outside bathrooms and doing laundry from our cottages. The hours for this position are based on the needs of the camp, and dictated by our reservation schedule from when guest are checking out/in, and also by the bathroom cleaning schedule. As an added bonus, there are shared tips among all the housekeepers. Typically the hours range from 20-40 a week, depending on what is going on that week at the camp. Must be willing to work evenings and weekends. Need to have the ability to bend, squat, and lift up to 40+ pounds. Maintenance - This position is perfect for those who like to work outside in the summer! Must have the ability to bend, lift, squat, and be able to pick up 50+ pounds. Main duties in this position include picking up trash, both on the ground and bags out of trash cans, stacking firewood, weed whacking, and doing beach clean-up, running the blower, and some painting. In general, keeping Camp Lakeview looking beautiful and running smooth for all of our guest that come to enjoy our facilities. Must be available to work evenings and weekends. This is a full time seasonal position, 5 days a week, 35-40 hours per week. As an added bonus, all employees of the camp get to have their immediate family members come in to Camp Lakeview for day use for FREE!
