Rescued dove needs a home - free

We rescued a dove on Wednesday that looks like it had an injury to it’s wing. We took it to dove lewis, but they wouldn't take it, and told us the audobon would euthanize it since it is not a native species. The rescue groups we have contacted have told us the same thing. From what I have been told, it is a collared dove and can’t be in the wild. We aren’t in a position to care for it long-term and are hoping to find someone that will give it a loving home. It is very sweet and friendly. It can fly, and seems to be healthy, just missing some feathers on it’s wing. Please contact me if you can give it a home. Thank you!
