Friendly Cat Needs A Home

Description

We are currently trying to re-home our beloved cat Zeal. He is an extremely friendly and cuddly cat, he often behaves more like a dog than a cat, and he loves belly rubs and sitting next to you. He has already been neutered, vaccinated for rabies and feline leukemia, and has been given a preventative flea treatment. He also got his hair cut and nails trimmed recently. He is too friendly to be an outdoor cat, other cats in the area would bully him. He has a lot of energy and would probably do best as an indoor cat in a home with another young cat or small dog to play with. The reason we have to re-home him is because we already have 2 very elderly cats, and all he wants to do is play with them. He isn't aggressive at all, we actually actually took him in because he followed us home for a mile then walked through our front door. However, our elderly cats don't want to play with him, or have any kind of interaction with him. He doesn't understand boundaries so he is always trying to follow them around and play with them, and they just want to be left alone. So they get mad at him or afraid of him when he tries to pounce and play with them, and we have to keep him separated by closing him off in a spare room. That isn't fair to him. He deserves to be able to roam around a house freely, and have other cats to play with. Please consider adopting Zeal, he is a really awesome cat. It's an absolute shame that we can't keep him, but he just isn't compatible with our 2 elderly cats. If you're in a home that doesn't have a cat yet, or that has younger cats, he would do amazingly with them. He comes with a food bowl and water bowl, flea collar, leash and harness, pet carrier, and his favorite toys.
