We have a beautiful, super sweet 11 month old Akita who is in need of a new home due to conflicts with the older dog in the home. She has been raised with children and adores them. She is a protection breed, so she is instinctually protective of her home. She is toy and food possessive with other dogs, so her ideal home will have no other dogs or perhaps a docile male. She loves to play with other dogs, so she would enjoy the company of a companion, but she would have to be managed during feeding time and with toys.
