Our work environment includes growth opportunities and on-the-job training. Job Description Traffic Control Flagger (Statewide - Florida) No Vaccination Requirements. Travel is required due to the projects we work on. If you are not able to travel and be away from home for 2-5 days per week, this job will not be a good fit for you. Work includes the following: Traffic control flagging technician As a growing team, we are looking for candidates that want to grow within our company to create value. Guaranteed pay increases within your first year Candidate Requirements Must have valid driver's license (Required) Must have reliable mode of transportation (Preferred) Must be able to travel with overnight stays (Required) Must be at least 18 years old Open availability for schedule Safety Toe Boots Able to work flexible hours with a normal shift of 8 to 12 hours. Able to lift 30 to 50 pounds Able to be flexible with last-minute schedule changes Overtime work available and required. Night work may be available and required Responsibilities Set up, maintain, and remove temporary work zones. Including warning signs, traffic cones, and rumble strips according to ATSSA and DOT regulations. Load and unload work zone equipment to and from the company vehicle. Use stop and slow paddles to control the flow of traffic Utilize two-way radio to effectively communicate with team-mates Wear and maintain proper PPE in accordance with R.O.W. specific policy. Work as a team to ensure proper work zone coverage and safety awareness. Physical ability to move traffic control equipment, stand and walk in outdoor temperatures for long periods of time. Ability to twist, turn, bend, stand, climb stairs, run and walk as required Normal vision or corrected by use of glasses and/or contacts for normal reading and viewing abilities Good time management skills, attention to detail and surroundings Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Must be able to see, hear, speak and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and/or other customers Must maintain a courteous and professional manner with co-workers, customers, and the public.
