3y old male blue heeler intact born during covid. Beautiful 45 pounds of love and snuggles. NOT FOR FIRST TIME DOG OWNERS. This is a very difficult decision we have had to make but due to circumstances we cannot provide him the care and love that he needs. This situation is a special one. He was given to us after a loss in our family and he was born the Christmas before the nation wide shut-down when Covid hit. Not any of his fault, but due to that he wasn't able to be exposed to other animals and people during the first two years of his life which is critical for dogs. He has shown aggression to other animals so he MUST BE the only animal in the home. He has a family dog that he now loves with and does adore her but thats it. Loves humans but not the best around kids, they kinda freak him out. Over the year of him now being in our care we have tried all we can, hes a love bug to our 3 year old which is so great. But we cant give him the attention and love he deserves. I know long story this is something that deeply hits home for us so handle with care. If interested in adoption there will be little to no fee. We just want him to go to the best home out there. Recipients must have refernces and history of owning a high energy dog or dogs in general.
