Looking to start a funk/soul/r&b band

Hey y’all! I’m an electric guitarist based in Longmont. I’m looking for musicians who want to form a band and gig around the area. I’d really love the chance to form a band along the same lines at Lake Street Dive, the Dip, Durand Jones and the Indications, California Honeydrops, etc. I’m open to most instrumentation! Keys, horns, even another guitar! I do want a full drum set however (sorry cajon players). I’m not a songwriter, so having at least one in the band would be essential. A little bit about me: I’m 26 and I’ve played guitar for 10 years or so and have been in a few bands/jam groups here and there. My mentality on guitar is to play what’s needs to be played in a tasteful, efficient way without stepping on anybody’s toes. I have professional equipment and reliable transportation. I’m willing to drive to Boulder and Denver and have lots of availability to jam at nights. I’m a chef, so I work weekends but can easily request off for gigs if needed. I’m really just here for the music and to have fun with people. Money and attention are nice but aren’t the goal. Let me know if you’re interested! Thanks
