Seeking Experienced Bass Player and Drummer for Roots/Blues Band

Now seeking experienced bass player and drummer for Roots/Blues band. We have been working with an awesome bass player, but due to logistics and scheduling conflicts we are now having to turn down gigs, so we are in search of another to fill the void. We have been successfully performing without a drummer (trio), that said, we are open to forming a quartet with drums. Said drummer would need to be able to manage the volume, be in the pocket and have or can acquire a stripped-down kit. Harmonica/Vocals Guitar/Backing Vocals Bass - ? Drums - ? Artists we cover: Little Walter, Muddy Waters, Junior Wells/Buddy Guy, Fabulous Thunderbirds, Lazy Lester, Sonny Boy, Hollywood Fats, etc.. We do get paid for our performances and the amounts vary depending on the venue. Lots of contacts and opportunities! We like to keep the format simple, utilizing as little equipment as possible, and we do mind the overall volume. We are amplified utilizing period correct low wattage amps for most performances. 3-4 gigs a month. Many gigs on the books and additional offers pending. Need someone willing to gig from New Bern to Wilmington, with an occasional gig inland for the right opportunity. Practice/rehearsal would depend on the experience and talent level of the applicants. That said, we are hoping to find a player that could hit the ground running and essentially work remotely from a shared set-list. We are willing to work with anybody that has talent but might be a little rusty. It's a really laid-back affair, but we do take our music and performances seriously. I promise, if you're down with the format you will have fun and make a little $$$. We are both seasoned experienced musicians, especially regarding our chosen format/genre. Equipment (PA), gigs, opportunities, are all in place, we just need some additional players to move to the next level. Please reach out to discuss if you are interested.
