Leak behind shower wall ....

I need to hire a general contractor/handyman who can repair a leak behind a shower wall. Fortunately, for now, the tub faucet is operational but the shower is kaput and, when on, leads to leaks in the ceiling below. Wall will needs to be opened up for repair (possibility to open on opposing side). May then require replacement of tub, new tiling, and drywall repair. This is an occupied single family home and is the only bathroom with shower/tub. You would need "to hit this hard" so I inconvenience the tenants as little as possible. Please provide details about background. The good thing about craigslist is that you often find competent contractors looking for work between jobs.
