Kim Grant is back again with a new class Saturday July 30th 12-4pm This time, learn to use a variety of materials to create a simple, fabulous 8 in x 8 in mosaic suncatcher. Kim will provide several sample designs that can be created during the class time. You may use a combination of pre-cut materials and also learn to "nip" stained glass for mosaic art. During class you will select a design and the glass/materials you will use. You will create the design and adhere it to the background. For those who wish to grout their suncatcher, Kim will demonstrate this and send you home with a kit to complete once the adhesive is fully cured. Cutting and handling glass requires the use of eye protection (glasses are ok). You may also want to use gloves, as glass is sharp. If you would like to bring your own design, Kim will try and accommodate with the understanding it may not be able to be completed within the class time allotted. Ages 12+ Minimum 4 max 12 for the class. $59 class cost includes the suncatcher, hanging hardware, and all the supplies and tools you will need!
