Welcome to "Comedy Shows Near Me" a weekly comedy club in the heart of Downtown Silver Spring, MD! He has received an award from Bethesda Magazine for his weekly comedy shows from 2014 to 2016 which featured Roast Battles, Comedian of the Year competitions, Open Mic, and Showcases. More recently he was one of the founding members of Speakeasy DC. He has taken comedy classes from both Sheila Wenz and Martin Amini. He is one of the more sought out comedians in the DMV with his knack for impressions and unique characters. In addition to being an avid football fan, Todd enjoys playing golf and creating both comical and informative content for social media.  He holds a bachelor's degree from Hampton University in Virginia. His quick wit and off the cuff humor has been slicing through crowds like a Vorpal sword rolled by a loaded D20 for over 18 years. Crawling from the depths of the Geek Comedy Tour, this Cosplaying, Leathersmithing, Magic Missile of Myrth is a guaranteed hit. He has shared the stage with comedians Ralphie May, Brian Posehn and Kevin Meeny. He has been invited to perform at numerous comedy festivals, conventions and has even entertained American troops stationed overseas. If his face is familiar, you may have seen him in a mattress commercial. If his voice rings a bell you may have heard him on the radio or as one of the hosts of The Laughfinder Podcast Social Media: Tommy Sinbazo on facebook, Instagram, tic tok and twitter Ever Want to try Stand-up? Stick around for our Open Mic just a few minutes after the show!Angel Penn will be your host for the open mic where YOU can try your hand at standup or watch some of the DMV's best practice their craft. Angel has been a staple in the comedy community shepherding new and veteran comics alike in the art form known as standup. He's performed at the DC Improv, State Theatre, and opened-ish for Todd Glass. It's a friendly room and environment to get your feet wet or practice that new joke that's been burning a hole in your brain. Buying a ticket gets you first dibs on signing up for the show or you can wait to sign up outside of the show room, but spots are limited. You'll get 5 minutes to impress your friends and maybe if you do well enough you'll be on the main show one day! The open mic starts at 945, signup on site will be at 930 every week!
