Join us for an evening with Rohulamin Quander, founder of the Quander Historical and Educational Society, as he discusses his book The Quanders – Since 1684: An Enduring African America Family Legacy, which introduces stories that constitute the Quander Family legacy as one of the oldest consistently documented African American families in the United States. The talk is $8 per person and advance registration is required due to limited seating. It is free for Lee-Fendall House Museum members but pre-registeration is required by emailing [email protected] or calling (703)548-1789. Books will be available for purchase and signing. About the Author: R. Quander is a retired Senior Administrative Law Judge. He is currently a licensed and certified tour guide in the Greater Washington, DC area. He has published three prior books: Quander Quality, The True Story of a Black Trailblazing Diabetic (2006) Nellie Quander, Alpha Kappa Alpha Pearl (2008) 50+ Omega Inspired Years, Tracing An Omega Legacy to 1931
