Will need secure yard with a strong but kind owner. 3 years old, Australian Shepherd Catahula mix absolutely beautiful black based tweed merle coloring, Male nurtured 75lbs always has been fed Victor professional dog food, up to date on shots, microchiped, Housetrained, crate trained and knows basic commands. Has been raised with kids, small dogs, cats, chickens and goats but has prey drive for rabbits and pigs. Has defended me from a large male javelina (taking a tusk to his face) and seems like nothing will stop him from protecting his home…. (Has never bit a human or attacked another dog but I fear he would if he felt he needed to) With all I’ve tried I am unable to handle him and need to find someone that is able to. He’s a powerful love bug and absolutely loves to be held like a baby (if you can pick him up you can win his heart) After my husband left us he has been too protective of me and and the kids. I hope to find him a home that can handle how seriously he takes protecting them 100% and will be able to keep him within their property. I’ll ask a small fee (50) but mostly I will need to see where he will be that he will have the best home.
