Fort Wayne Landlady Needs Roof Replaced

I have a single family property that has had a roof in poor condition for many years. The storm that came through last week caused more damage to it, and I am looking at doing either extensive repairs or possibly replacing it. (I don't want to have to pay to replace it unless absolutely necessary). I have received three quotes already, all of them far too high in my estimation. I would like to stay at or around $5K for a total replacement. Sorry if that is naive or whatever. I inherited these houses from my dad in 2016, and I'm not used to paying insane amounts of money on my rentals. This has been quite the wake up call for me as a landlady/property manager, and I am super stressed out about it. I thought I would throw something out here to see if anyone needs the work.
