Join us for two days at UC Riverside in their new Student Success Center for illuminating and thought-provoking Spark Group Breakout Sessions that will focus on collaboration, creativity, and core strategies to strengthen your ongoing ANTs and programs to achieve educational and economic success in the Inland Empire. Thursday, July 21, 10am – 5pm: The morning Spark Session will be led by Charles Ansell of Complete College America and will focus on better ways to use data in your ANTs and programs. The afternoon Spark Session will use breakout groups to explore the first stage of design thinking, Empathy, and how a focus on Empathy can help you and your teams identify or uncover new strategies to employ in your ANTs. Day 1 ends with a beer and wine reception at UCR’s The Barn. Friday, July 22, 10am – 4pm: The morning Spark Session will have facilitators, using breakout groups by ANTs, to transfer the lessons of Day 1 into actionable outcomes around better uses of data and the role of empathy. The afternoon Spark Session will feature speakers and activities to suggest strategies and concepts to help you develop greater communication and dissemination plans, so that you can better reach your intended audiences.
