I request the honor of your attendance.... I am truly honored to be selected to receive the Maurice McQuillen Award this year at a brief ceremony at the Union Leader building in Manchester. The award is sponsored by the McQuillen family and named for a former Editor of the Union Leader Veterans page. The criteria for selection is that the recipients are being recognized for their distinguished service to veterans and their families in the state of New Hampshire. I am humbled to be joining an extensive list of other veterans who've selflessly volunteer their time and talent to serve the NH veteran population. This will be a brief ceremony with light refreshments being served. The Union Leader has requested a head count to know how many chairs, food, etc. to prepare for this.
