Description

Live silkworms (Bombyx mori). They are the larvae of the domestic silkworm moth. Great feeder insect for your reptiles that can be used as a staple in a varied diet, not just a treat, since they don’t have as much moisture or fat as hornworms. They can make cool pets or even a great science project for the kids, teaching them about different life cycles and how a caterpillar turns into a moth. The moths are super cute, they remind me of a Pokémon. They cannot fly either since they’ve been domesticated for thousands of years in the silk industry and cannot bite since they don’t have any functional mouthparts. As larvae, they don’t move around much, they usually stay right with their food, so no need for an elaborate setup. They’re still small right now but they grow fast so get them soon! Text me. (Ask me about my other feeder insects and rodents too!) 10 ct cups with chow $12 Keywords: bearded dragon, chameleon, turtle, lizard, reptile, snake, tegu, python, boa, insect, worms, feeders.
