Description

We are a high-end Class-C Motorhome Manufacturer in Nokomis, FL looking to add an additional Automotive-Type Painter and/or Body Shop Technician to our team. We have been in business for 37 years, all of which we have been family owned and operated so you’re not just a number on a paycheck while you’re employed with us. We take pride in being the highest rated Class-C motorhome builder in the industry. At our facility we start with a cutaway chassis (just the cab and empty frame rails) and turn it into a full motorhome. Everything from cabinet building, fiberglass lamination, upholstery, electrical, assembly and more is all done here on premises. We are looking specifically for someone with automotive/RV Paint Shop/Body Shop experience who can join our team in painting or doing body work on our newly constructed motorhomes. The units themselves vary in size from 23’ to 27’ in length and are raw gel coated fiberglass when they come off the assembly line and enter our body shop. The body shop then preps/masks the entire unit, corrects any imperfections in the fiberglass (as they are all hand laid), sands all surfaces, and primes the unit before scuffing it and passing the vehicle to the paint shop. The paint shop then corrects any last-minute details, seals the unit, applies paint, then clear coat. We are looking for someone to either join our Body Shop in conducting the above stated work or someone to job the Paint Shop spraying the units. For the Paint Shop, automotive style painting and bondo type experience is required. For the Body Shop, applicant must be knowledgeable about body shop tools like DAs, grinders, and spray guns, as well as, completed body work in the past. Applicant must have worked with a fiberglass substrate and be comfortable working with it. Applicant must be responsible, have a good attention to detail, be organized, have reliable transportation, and a drive to succeed. Pay will be hourly and depend on the applicant’s prior experience and skill level.
