Laborers (with or without forklift operator experience) – Temp to Perm (after 3 to 4 months) - The work will include but not be limited to participating in the pipe tip-out process, chipping and patching pipe. All of this is done outside in the elements, rain or shine. The work may also include work inside the plant during production. This can include but is not limited to working in the cage machine area, adding spacers to cages, wrapping and scribing green pipe in the plant. Depending on the shift, participation in the clean-up process may also be needed. - The physical demands of this job include exertion up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. - Forklift experience is a plus but not required. If you come on as a forklift operator you will be expected to assist is all areas as needed as described in the first paragraph. - Workdays are Monday thru Friday, with some Saturdays required for projects and/or full production. - Reliable transportation is a must. Poor attendance and lateness will not be tolerated. - Start time will be 3:30AM with an approximate end of day at 1:30PM. - Flexibility is needed for workday start times to cover other shifts as needed. Latest start time is 6:00AM with an end of day between 4:00PM and 5:00PM. - Starting pay will be $16.00 per hour. - Our local temporary personnel agency handles all screenings and weekly payroll.
