The NEC Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to building a world without necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC). The NEC Society brings together patient-families, clinicians, and other diverse stakeholders to better understand, prevent, and treat this devastating neonatal intestinal disease. We want YOU to join us on December 4, 2022 as we run/walk for a world without NEC. There are two ways to participate: #1. Join us in-person for the California International Marathon (CIM). CIM offers two distances: the full 26.2 mile course, and a two-member relay option where each relay member completes 13.1 miles. #2. YOU choose the distance and run/walk in your own community on December 4, 2022. Together, our goal is to raise $26,200 by running/walking for a world without NEC! Every step counts. Every dollar counts. The NEC Society will use this energy and these funds to accelerate NEC research, education, and advocacy. We're excited to run/walk with you on Dec, 4!
