Who we are and what we value: We envision a world where humans live in harmony with the natural environment, where the air, water, and land are free of human-created waste and toxins, and natural ecosystems thrive. We intend to help grow a movement to bring this vision into manifestation. Our Noble Cause is to help Coloradans transition to clean, renewable solar energy to power buildings, equipment, and transportation. We believe in serving, not selling, and seeking win-win agreements with all of our partners (customers and vendors). We believe that people should love their work, so we actively work to discover and do more of what energizes us, while supporting one another to do the same. We employ principles of humanistic self-management, thus we value honest, frequent, and positive communication within and outside of our organization. We have no bosses, our Noble Cause is our boss. We have full freedom of decision and action within each of our respective realms of responsibility. We value initiative and innovation. None of us needs to be told what to do because we’re all smart and motivated to get things done the right way. We value collaboration and seek consensus whenever possible. We support one another in keeping our commitments. We desire the support of friends in clarifying our intentions, setting our metrics for success, supporting and holding ourselves and one another accountable. Our committed community is larger than this business, and larger than Ecology Solar’s client base. We help expand an ever growing circle of friends who are enthusiastic about solar energy. We work and play with clear minds, full hearts, good cheer, and laughter. Our work is fun, interesting, and exciting! We have the freedom to set our own schedules while still meeting commitments to our teammates, clients, and the greater community. We don’t want “jobs” in which we work to enrich a few at the top of an organizational hierarchy at the expense of everyone else. All deserve to share in the fruits of our time and effort towards common goals and deliverables. We desire and bring into manifestation adequate funds to support our homes, families, and lifestyles, while serving others and giving back to the world. We feel free and safe to challenge one another’s ideas and opinions while being responsible for how we are heard, and to be challenged. It’s okay to be wrong and to fail. We recognize failure is a gateway to clarification and success! We find strength in our differences. We all bring something different to the enterprise, a perspective that is uniquely our own. We accomplish more together than we would independently. We celebrate diversity and seek out and hire people who share our culture (Noble Cause, beliefs, values), and also bring different backgrounds and perspectives to our collective. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, in both the moral and legal sense of the term. We recognize that certain groups of people have been historically discriminated against in hiring, public accommodations, pay, and credit, and we actively seek to create an equitable and diverse workforce that reflects Colorado’s front range demographics. We serve the underserved in our society by welcoming qualified candidates into our culture of success.
