Inventory Control Specialist Job Description: Come and join our team! We are looking for the right team member that can perform inventory management and administrative tasks while providing a high quality of service to our customers. JEi Corporate Services (JEi) is an industry leader in comprehensive commercial furniture services, including installation, relocation, warehousing, asset management and project management. This position will be comprised of the following admin tasks and responsibilities which would be performed each day. • Provide receiving notification to customers. • Schedule delivery appointments with manufactures and transportations companies. • Follow up with customer on shortages/ back orders or damaged product. • Manage customer inventories through asset management inventory system. • Perform physical inventories and cycle counts for accuracy. • Research discrepancies/missing products/extra products on the truck to determine why product is missing, not delivered or if it was miss-picked. • Create proposals and support customer invoicing process. • Other admin tasks supporting receiving / outbound operations as needed. Requirements: Applicants must possess the following skill-sets: • Solid working knowledge of Windows OS and MS Office to include Outlook, Word, and Excel • Experienced use of web-based inventory management system • Strong interpersonal skills to work with internal and external customers • Strong attention to details and organizational skills • Experience in high volume service industry • Must maintain the ability to work in a team environment and provide responsive customer service to team members even with constant interruptions.
