SCHEDULE: Mon – Thurs.: 7am – 3:30pm & Fri: 6am – 2:30pm INDUSTRY: Science education and science lab equipment for over 50 years THE ROLE The Material Handler II under limited supervision, handles, allocates and transfers material, equipment, kits, supplies and shortages that are required and conducive to maintaining an efficient material flow through manufacturing areas. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES • Physically transfers material, maintain bench stock, and handles completed assemblies/jobs between work areas or cost centers. • Locates materials and expedites part shortages within the plant that may be required for completion of assemblies. • Verifies and maintains stock documentation and shortage reports • Utilizes small hand tools and operates material handling equipment including for lifts, skids, pallet handlers, hand trucks, and the like. • Assist with shipping and/or receiving responsibilities. • Other duties and projects as assigned SKILLS AND MUST-HAVES • Two years of stockroom/warehouse/receiving experience • Computer knowledge – MS Office Suites • Strong reading, writing and numerical/math skills • High school diploma or equivalent • Must pass a drug and background check THE COMPANY International and award-winning science education company located in Roseville.
