A direct follow-up to the Introduction to Adobe Lightroom Classic class, this course is designed to show how to develop an image, fix issues, or enhance color, tone, and contrast. Students will also learn proper development workflows for their genre of work. After completing the course, students will be proficient in the following:
Overview of the Develop interface and proper development workflow.
Proper use of the Develop tools, including tone, contrast, and color adjustments.
Understanding and using the Histogram for accurate image adjustment.
Image Sharpening and Color Grading
Black and white conversions
Image cropping
Breaking down Lens Corrections, Color Profiles, and Color Calibration, and how they fit into your workflow.
Prerequisites: Adobe Lightroom Classic Introduction, or previous Lightroom Classic experience.
Gear Requirements: Students need a laptop, with Lightroom Classic already installed before the start of class and 20 GB of free hard drive space.
This is a five-hour course with a 1 1/2 hour lunch break.
