We are pleased to announce July's SHINE Cancer Support Group Speaker will be Professor Kevin Anderson. Professor Anderson is the Coordinator of the Ogier Gardens at the University of North Florida. His areas of expertise include sustainable agriculture and sustainable food systems. He will be sharing tips on planning your fall garden and discussing the many physical and mental benefits of cultivating a garden. SHINE is an interactive breast cancer support group that provides an uplifting environment to encourage meaningful and helpful conversation. Through SHINE, our goal is to help women with breast cancer make informed treatment decisions, equip them with tools to ease the challenges of treatment, and most importantly, share support and encouragement during and after breast cancer.
