Windshutters is an installation, manufacturing, service & repair company for all types of hurricane protection including motorized roll shutters, accordion shutters, impact windows & doors, impact fabrics and more. The owner is a General Contractor so we do not subcontract our employees. We work on Residential and Commercial Buildings. We are looking for a technician that can bring the skills they have learned in other trades and gear them towards learning a new specialty skill in Hurricane Shutter Installation. Experience or no experience, we are a job that you learn while in the field. Florida is always vulnerable to weather and hurricane's so there is never a shortage for demand, especially with the rate of new construction and influx of new owners! Our work environment includes: -On-the-job Training -Casual Work Environment -Safe Work Environment -Growth Opportunities -Company Perks -Work Vans Provided Requirements: -Valid driver’s License -Clean driving record & background check -Neat appearance -Dependable & professional solid work ethic -Capable of working off heights. Daily installs can involve ladders, scaffold, swing stage and lift work -Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and more -Basic tools to start -Must be able to accurately read measuring tape and knowledge of power tools We offer: 40-hour work week, Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm.
