My name is Katherine Lankford and I am passionate about Financial Literacy. I was inspired to create a business called Finance & Affirmations, which grew out of my desire to see more financial literacy education in the black community. We have all had a financial education; it may not be formal but absolutely informs how we think about money. I have been working in the Finance Industry for 23 years, most recently as a Home Mortgage Professional , and want to share my understanding of how to successfully manage your finances, now and for the future. This is also an opportunity to network and promote each other. There will be vendors present at the event.
