ACTIVELY RECRUITING!!!!! The mission of the TMU is to support clinical and translational research across the USU community. We work with a wide array of stakeholders in military healthcare, academia, and industry. The TMU is currently conducting a research study to better understand leishmaniasis infected our servicemembers. This study is being conducted under the sponsorship of the Department of Defense as part of a partnership with military and civilian doctors / hospitals called Surgical Critical Care Initiative (SC2i). The purpose of this study is to collect and store clinical and research data and samples from people who have been injured or become seriously ill, as well as samples from healthy control subjects like you.
