Job Summary Our company is a well-established medium / heavy duty truck repair and maintenance shop specializing in drivetrain repair and service. We are currently accepting applications for head lube technicians who can travel out of Marshalltown, Iowa. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS JOB DOES REQUIRE OVERNIGHT TRAVEL TO WORK SITES IN: IOWA, NEBRASKA, MISSOURI, ILLINOIS, MINNESOTA, TENNESSE, AND KENTUCKY. Responsibilities Adjust, Repair or Replace Parts Perform Maintenance Services and Basic Repairs Oversee stocking and unloading of service trucks before and after trips. Fill in electronic works orders and send to office promptly. Manage assistant lube technicians. Keep track of trip expenses and turn in receipts. Communicate with customers while on the road. Order parts as needed. Communicate needs and trip updates to the main office. Qualifications General Knowledge of Mechanics Valid Driver’s License + Clean Driving Record Trade Certification a Plus but not Required High School Diploma or Equivalent Skills Attention to Detail Effective Problem Solver Strong Organization Ability Works well with Others Self-Directed Excellent Communicator Reliable and Prompt Benefits Paid Uniforms Health and Dental Options at 3 Months!
