Melodic Metal?

Anyone interested in starting a more melodic metalcore/nu metal kind of band? I play bass, guitar, and piano. I mainly play bass in bands but wouldn't be against playing guitar either (I just would need to invest in a live rig for guitar first). I'm down to either start something new or join something established depending on what it is. I'm really looking for people who take this seriously but know how to have fun too. I want to focus on originals that are written and recorded consistently, with the band having a strong online presence. I still want to play shows too of course.
