Just watched a video the other day; a guy was on a university campus, interviewing students about the Civil War. Several of these college students thought Abraham Lincoln was a Democrat ( !!! ) And several students thought the Democrat party freed the slaves. ( !!!!!!!! ) This is grade school stuff !! OMFG !! By the time I was in 4th grade, I had a healthy understanding of the Civil War and I definitely knew which sides were 'for' and 'against' slavery. My question is, how does a student get all the way to college, being so uninformed? What has happened to our education system? Why do we now have college students, who don't know the things that my generation knew way back in grammar school? Our public education system has failed miserably and the college campuses are becoming nothing more than indoctrination facilities. Our colleges are producing graduates who are so terribly ill-informed, but they 'think' they know so much... it's sad and scary at the same time. ** Want to know why the Democrats hate the NRA so much?
