Press release from the Hennepin County Library: December 28, 2020 We polled library staff and social media followers about the best books they read in 2020. Staff picks The books that staff loved in 2020 include some favorites published in previous years and some new titles from 2020. "Mexican Gothic" by Silvia Moreno-Garcia and "All Systems Red" by Martha Wells were mentioned by multiple staff among the fiction picks. "Tristan Strong Punches a Hole in the Sky" by Kwame Mbalia for children and "Elatsoe" by Darcie Little Badger for teens were also selected by several staff as their favorite reads this year. Enjoy this mix of new books, old favorites, and titles staff finally had time to read.
