Gen X dad type with telecaster aquisition syndrome looking for other intermediate-advanced pickers interested in trading licks on Bakersfield and classic country. Competent flat-pickers also welcome - I'm willing to learn fiddle tunes. Specifically looking for those who can speak the language and have an appreciation for Travis picking, pedal steel licks, etc. Ideal candidate already knows half the Buck Owens catalog and gets misty eyed whenever someone says "Roy Clark". Not trying to start a band but would be open to it. West Portland/Beaverton/Hillsboro. No maga chuds.
