Description
Bassist here, currently collaborating with a lead guitarist in Sugar Hill area. Previously worked together in a grunge and stoner rock band in addition to a horror-folk trio, and would like to combine all of the above, putting together a new band— thinking in terms of “Black Sabbath meets Johnny Cash.”
Mostly covers, but refashioned— classic grunge and metal classics recast as downtuned, psychedelic country-rock. Meat Puppets are a possible reference point. (Disclaimer: NOT a country band).
Looking primarily for vocalist and drummer; interested in keyboardist as well.
Goals include weekly or bi-weekly rehearsals, local/regional live shows once or twice a month. Not a high pressure situation; family and career take precedent. At the same time, we take our playing seriously.
If interested, we would like to hear some type of demo/recording from you. Recordings don't have to be professional; just some playing samples.
