Hello, music lover! Are you excited for summer and ready to gather again to enjoy some sunshine and tunes? If so, you're in luck. This July 4th weekend, Tom McCall Waterfront Park will play host to the 35th annual Waterfront Blues Festival! Amazing acts are on tap, with headliners like Taj Mahal & The Phantom Band, Grace Potter, The Wood Brothers, Galactic, and Lettuce, plus lots of local artists that will make you stand up and dance. Tickets are available at www.waterfrontbluesfest.com. But if you'd prefer to skip the payment process and get into the festival for FREE... Consider signing up as a festival volunteer! Below you'll find three links: the first is to sign up for a volunteer shift that doesn't need any special skills or previous experience...Just a fun and friendly demeanor! Rally a group of friends, or family members, or even colleagues, and come spend a few sweet summer nights by the river. We also have opportunities that are perfect for experienced volunteers. If you know other trusty volunteers who've done it before, feel free to share the link with them as well. If you're especially suited to staying organized among crowds and keeping things running smoothly, perhaps you'll choose to be a Festival Access Super Volunteer. These leaders at our entry gates and ticket booths are so important! Every volunteer gets a free t-shirt and gets into the festival for free on their volunteer day. If you work a LATE SHIFT, you'll be eligible for a free General Admission ticket to a day of your choice later in the fest. We've filled about half of our volunteer shifts, so we're counting on music lovers like you to help us spread the word!
