Living Word Lutheran Church's Brought to Light 5K Fun Run & Walk is back for the second year! Join us for this fun run and walk at Allegany College of Maryland on Saturday, July 30 from 7-10 a.m. Walk or run either the scenic mile or hard surface quarter-mile track at your own pace. Our mission is to bring awareness to the horrors of the hidden-in-plain-sight crime of human trafficking. Proceeds will benefit local and national organizations that combat trafficking and assist victims, including Veterans for Child Rescue. Registration includes a t-shirt and one raffle ticket for a grand prize drawing. Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase. For all that is secret will eventually be brought into the open, and everything that is concealed will be brought to light and made known to all. Luke 8:17 (NLT)
