The Kalamazoo Energy Collaborative, a new efficiency and recognition program just for commercial buildings in Kalamazoo, officially launches on June 29, 2022, at the Foundry downtown. Join the City of Kalamazoo, Mayor David Anderson, Consumers Energy, and commercial building owners as we come together to make Kalamazoo’s future greener and more efficient. The event starts at 9:00 AM with networking, Sweetwater’s donuts, and coffee. A short program featuring Mayor Anderson, Consumers Energy, and participating buildings will conclude by 10 AM. What is the Kalamazoo Energy Collaborative? This new leadership program for commercial properties couples customized efficiency recommendations with recognition from the City for implementing the recommendations. You elevate your property's status as a green building while saving on utility costs. In fact, the Foundry itself is one of our participating properties!
