Newcap is offering a FREE summer teen program.
Our program is a part of the Personal Responsibility Education Program, also known as PREP, which is funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
PREP uses high-quality evidence-based programs to prepare adolescents with necessary knowledge and skills to transition to adulthood. The goals of the program include positive adolescent development, healthy relationships, healthy life skills, as well as pregnancy & STI prevention.
Our program uses lessons from Advocates for Youth-Rights Respect Responsibility, and is designed for High School aged youth - 14-19 year-olds.
Our program is offered at no cost to participants and participants will be entered to win a gift basket valuing at $150 upon completion of the program! (At least 75% attendance required)
Programing will be offered at Howard Village Hall in the activity room from 10am- 2pm.
Dates of programming:
Session A: June 21-23; 27-30
Session B: July 18-21; 26-28
Session C: August 8-11; 15-17
