Brighter Days Foundation’s Mission is to spread awareness and give equal opportunity to access mental health services and to close the gap among vulnerable populations, through equality, compassion, community, ethical practices, and culturally sensitive programs. Pandas FC’s Mission is to empower women and promote wellness through sports. Pandas FC provides a safe space for women both on and off the field. We strive to implement a sense of community and inclusivity for all women. Pandas FC mission aligns with BDFI’s mission and they have come together through this event to raise funds for the Lifeline program: The Lifeline Program consists of mental health services geared specifically towards youth suicide prevention. We implement culturally sensitive mental health care strategies for teens their families and the community to focus on the prevention, identification, and treatment of mental health disorders.
