This is our 4th annual graduation celebration! We celebrate formerly incarcerated folx in the Pacific Northwest who graduated this year or graduated inside and were released within the past year. This year, we're also celebrating people who graduated or were released any time during COVID. This is the first time we've held the BBQ in Portland, and we're looking forward to connecting the WA and OR folx! These graduates all have persevered despite the systems and institutions created and designed to hold them down. We want to celebrate their achievements and all the hard work each and everyone of them has put in. We also know that achieving this milestone came at a cost, both financially and the time they dedicated to school that took away from friends and family in pursuit of something bigger and better for themselves and the world. Come celebrate the formerly incarcerated classes of 2020, 2021, and 2022!
