This is a special event presented by JazzClubsNW at Boxleys: “The Jeff Hamilton Trio performs original compositions and Great American Songbook selections from several of their recordings. Jeff (drums) is known for touring with Jazz greats such as Oscar Peterson, Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Brown and is the co-leader along with John Clayton of the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra. Tamir Hendelman (piano) is in his 22nd year with Jeff's trio as well as with the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra. He has several recordings under his own name. Jon Hamar (bass) is the newest member of the trio, joining three years ago and is also a member of the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra. This trio has two recordings, Catch Me If You Can and Merry and Bright.” Boxleys is a small intimite Jazz club in downtown North Bend Washington, featuring live music and beverages, specifically beer, wine, sodas and coffee. Boxleys is NOT a restaurant and no dinner will be served. Space is limited for this special event. There is no reserved seating. Doors will open at 6:30pm for the 7pm show.
