In a world that feels a little more out-of-control than the day before, how do we hold onto a sense that everything is going to be okay?
This workshop will introduce a series of opportunities to explore contemplative practices of the Christian faith. In this initial offering, we will explore the practices of Lectio Divina and creating a Rule of Life.
Lectio Divina is a way of reading the Bible that invites God to read us as we the pages of Scripture. It's a way of encountering God beyond just learning information.
Writing a Rule of Life is like choosing a route on a road atlas or a GPS. It’s about mindfulness. It’s about intentionality in our days.
A Rule of Life written well invites you deeper into the question: What kind of person is God forming in me right now?
If you're looking for an opportunity to grow deeper with God, this workshop is for you.
A catered lunch is included.
Space is limited so register now to make sure you have a spot!
