COMPENSATION/BENEFITS Black Diamond’s Field Service Tech pay is $22 to $25/hr depending on experience & licensing. Benefits include medical, dental & vision insurance, paid vacation, 3 paid holidays and a 401k plan with a $2000 company match. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Landscape tasks such as installing new irrigation valves, fixing irrigation leaks, replacing and/or installing new plants, etc. Hardscape tasks such as re-grading levels, switching out broken or stained pavers, low voltage lighting, devising solutions for failing drainage systems, etc. Survey existing conditions on residential hardscape / landscape installation projects, identify/assess quality and resolve issues accordingly. Manage safety programs (OSHA) and jobsite safety conditions. REQUIREMENTS Field Service Techs must have experience in the Hardscape/Landscape and/or construction industry with basic product knowledge and skills. Must be dependable, punctual, organized with strong communication skills and success-driven with the ability to positively interact with costumers. A team player, who can work alone or supervised, with a positive attitude & a strong work ethic. Willingness to learn and grow skills from Laborer to Technician. Must be able to work in the US and live within 25 miles of our San Jose Headquarters. Clean driving record with valid CA driver’s license. Bi-lingual English/Spanish is helpful and completion of Horticulture and/or Construction courses is a plus.
