Brandon's Landscapes, Inc. is hiring Gardeners for the Landscape Maintenance for our Commercial and Residential Divisions!! Minimum 1 year applicable experience is required (**casual gardening and maintenance for neighbors or one’s own home yard is not sufficient) Full-time, year round employment. Pay rate is based on experience! Job Specific Duties: • Hand pruning, hedging, mowing, edging, trimming & remove litter/debris • Perform weeding by hand or using hand tools • Properly and safely operate a backpack blower • Perform enhancements (plantings, top soil application, lawn seeding & fertilizer) • Planting and maintaining flower beds • Assist with irrigation maintenance, repairs and adjust programs on the controllers • Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials, equipment, supplies and burlaps of debris • Assist with tool/equipment maintenance and repair under supervision of the Team Leaders • Be proactive and maintain open communication with assigned Crew lead and/or Team Leader • Be able to lift and carry 40 lbs. (mulch, fertilizer, etc.) • Be able to load/unload burlaps with plant cuttings (up to 50 lbs.) • Be able to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day • Safeguard all company property from theft and misuse • Understand and practice safety in all work circumstances Language: Bilingual English and Spanish are preferred. Working Conditions: Work is conducted outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures, weather conditions, and noise levels; exposure to dust, pesticides, herbicides, grease, oils, dust, fumes, and electrical currents.
