Spicewalla is a chef-driven spice company located right here in Asheville, NC. We offer fresh, small batch spices that are all packed and processed by hand. Job Title: Production Worker Position Goal: This role primarily works in Assembly labeling tins, making collections boxes, assembling collections, etc. There may also be some work done in the clean room where spices are handled directly, requiring full productive suites, gloves, hairnets / beard nets - ensuring complete sanitation of your person and the work environment throughout your day. This is a heartbeat to our operations - ensuring the absolutely best quality and consistency in our products. Key Responsibilities: Identify spices and blends for packing Pack tins and other form factors to appropriate fill Label tins and products for retail and wholesale orders Keep all areas clean and safe Demonstrate strong attention to detail and teamwork Performance Measurement: Attendance and punctuality Attention to detail and care Efficiency and teamwork Join the restaurant group behind the 2022 James Beard Outstanding Restaurant of the year, a Zagat award, recipes published in Bon Appetit, Saveur, Food & Wine, write-ups in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Local Palate, The Huffington Post, Southern Living, USA Today, and on and on.
