Lead guitarist wanted for pro-level NorCal Tom Petty tribute band. We are getting ready to do wineries and special events In the fall. A likely candidate for this gig will be a Tom Petty fan, have significant live band experience, be able to play Mike Cambell's parts well, with soul, and look like you are enjoying it, and be able to use in-ear monitors. A huge plus if you can sing the harmony parts to TP songs. Aside from doing the classic songs right, we really dig the live versions from the "Wildflowers" reissue. This is what we want to reproduce. We are intent on making money but we all have other projects as well so we may only gig 1 to 3 times a month. If this sounds right up your alley, please send a video link to some of your work and tell us why you are the right person for this band. A video is REQUIRED to be considered. Fit is as important to us as playing ability. If you don't have a video of you in a band context, and you really think you are the person for this gig, you can even make a video with your phone of you talking and playing the solo to American Girl. Just a thought. If you don't already know how to play American Girl, If you don't already play a little slide when needed, if you don't have a Telecaster, it's unlikely this is your gig. You don't need a Rickenbacker 12 string, a sitar or a Way Huge Camel Toe to be considered though. There are practical workarounds for those. If we think there might be a match, we will tell you all about us so you can decide if you want to work with us. We have videos for you to look at and we are nice people without drama or drug problems. Finally, we are all vaccinated. If you don't choose to be vaccinated that is your choice.
